Live Stream at Tokyo International Forum

This Friday October 16 took place the penultimate date of the Wonder Future Tour, a special live was held with the live streaming of the show from the Tokyo International Forum, room where the band has already played before and which you have already seen if you've watched Eizo 8. With a huge setlist and announcements, that day did enthrall the worldwide fans and audience.

The setlist

Of course, the setlist was composed of their Wonder Future album repertory, as well as the latest single Easter, interspersed with rock and pop songs, to finish with the band big hits that everyone love.

The stage

The setlist merge with the stage, full of colours, contrast, scattered of various landscapes and animation more or less well made. The most bizarre animation was the one for Opera Glasses that was a total lack of imagination and the opposite of what has been done since the beginning, a long text in English which scroll fast, with no coherences, almost impossible to read. Was the result better if one was just in front of the stage ?

Announcement

During live MC, Gotch announced to work on a new album for their 20th anniversary (the band formation, not the 10 years at Ki/oon, that is called marketing has nothing to do with the band formation).
Kita also said to do something for their 20th anniversary, good news for those who wish Kita could sing more often. I personally look forward to listen to Yamada singing one day (or to play bass, but especially to sing) !

Regarding their 20th anniversary, my wish would be to listen again to their indie songs with a better English.

To watch the live again

Where to watch the live again ? You can watch it again either onto the facebook page of the site in 4 parts, or download it onto the forum.

Asian Kung-Fu Generation

Asian Kung-Fu Generation
