After 3 EPs released under Masafumi Gotoh's own label Onlyindreams Records (Wonderland is the latest released), Masafumi Gotoh is releasing his first solo album called Can't Be Forever Young. For this album, Masafumi Gotoh worked with numerous artists like the band The Chef Cooks Me, Atsushi Horie from STRAIGHTENER etc.

This is neither an Asian Kung-Fu Generation album nor a sign of a disband. The album will be released on April 19th 2014 in a CD combo LP Vinyl + CD edition, 1500 copies signed will be available to the Record Day Stores. However, the CD edition will be released on April 30th 2014.

Gotch

Gotch nickname refers to Masafumi Gotoh solo career which started in 2012. Influenced by the American indie style of the 90's with bands like Beck, Wilco, Bright Eyes, Neil Young etc, Gotch uses a range of different instruments to compose his pop songs. His lyrics are elaborated, each of them have their own univers, story and are easily identifiable. Gotch solo career isn't a break with the band Asian Kung-Fu Generation at all and has no influence within it.
