Hello, everyone! My name is Phil, and I just recently joined the akfgfragments admin team, and will be representing the USA. Fans from the United States have all been wondering the same thing; Asian Kung-fu Generation has been to Europe, South America, and Mexico, but when will they finally make their way to the USA? Well, that's where you, the fans, come in. We hope that with this campaign, we can show the band our enthusiasm, and let them know that there is still a demand to see them tour state-side.
Bringing the Band
The band has formally stated in an interview that they would love to come to the US, but wish to see the enthusiasm from fans. So, as part of our celebration of the band's 20th anniversary, we are doing a fan project to show the band that there is a demand for them to come to the USA, and we need to get as many American fans involved with this as possible.
The Project
We would like fans from all around the USA to showcase their enthusiasm for the band. Don't be shy! Just follow these steps to the best of your ability and we'll send your messages in the form of a compilation directly TO THE BAND!! That's right, the band and their staff will get to see how much YOU have wanted to see them live.
Shoot a video of yourself on webcam or smartphone that follows these steps:
- Your first name**
- Where you're from**
- Your favorite Ajikan song
- How you discovered the band
- How the band has affected your life
- Sing, dance, play an instrument...anything! Just be enthusiastic!
If you're not able to do anything quirky, or just feeling shy, that's okay! Just tell us your name, what area you're from, and that you love AKG! As long as you send us something along those lines, your message will be sent along with the rest.
Location, Location, Location!
If you don't think the band will come to your city or town, give us the nearest major city to your area that bands usually play in. For example, if you live in Arkansas or East Texas, you can say, "Please come to Dallas," or if you live in Bakersfield, CA, you can say, "Please come to Los Angeles," but the location is a must. I also want to add that Canadian fans are also welcomed to send submissions, as this is a group effort to bring them North America.

The deadline to submit videos or sign our peition is on November 1st, 2016.
